At Bamboo Soft, we are passionate about protecting our planet, by promoting an eco-friendly alternative to a product we all use every day, toilet paper. So like many others had asked before us, we thought: how can we stop people harming the environment every time they flush toilet paper down the
drain? We quickly realised, even with the availability of a range of eco bamboo toilet paper products, most people were still using regular toilet paper. The reason – most of the eco bamboo toilet paper options on the market were flimsy, rough on the skin and prone to completely disintegrating in water, prompting people to reach for even more toilet paper – the opposite of the goal these brands had set out to resolve!

Initially, we weren't sure we could find a supplier who could make bamboo toilet paper that was both good for the planet and of good quality, but we decided to try anyway. We ordered samples from a range of factories, but they were mostly the same – the thin, rough eco bamboo toilet paper that was already available to buy online. We didn't give up though. We teamed up with a manufacturer whose initial samples seemed promising, and worked really closely with them to get things just right. And the result? A bamboo toilet paper as soft as its traditional counterpart. Now, customers can enjoy using luxury toilet paper without feeling guilty afterwards!
